I have always been a very adventurous person and have spent numerous years traveling the world.  My travels have taken me to very exotic and often remote locations.  I find myself ready to take things a step further and  settle down and live in this type of setting.  I have been researching the benefits of relocatable homes for my unique situation.  One benefit is that the home is built off-site.  It is often difficult to find skilled tradesmen, laborers, and supplies in lower populated areas.  This could  present many problems with a typical on-site build.  However with a relocatable home this is not a factor.

Another benefit would be that I can have it built quickly and efficiently in the factory and then brought to my block of land.  I can also choose the layout that works best for me. There are many more styles and sizes to choose from than in the past. The relocatable homes are built in sections, and then transported to your future home site.   In my research I have found that the style and quality is comparable to traditional homes.  They can even be quite luxurious inside and it is hard to tell the difference between these homes and traditional on-site builds. The cost factor is also quite favorable.

Another benefit of transportable homes is their low cost.  You know in advance how much you are paying for the home and exactly what you will be receiving.  They are considerably more affordable that on-site built homes.  This is a great option for me since this will be my first home purchase. Everyone who has ever done a construction project knows how quickly a budget can go awry.  There are always costs that may not have been considered and problems that come up that were not expected.  These factors can quickly inflate the cost of building a home and may not be ideal when working within a set budget.

I am excited to move forward in my plans to scout out a suitable home site and  now  I am free to consider a more remote location.  When I dreamed of where I might live  I wasn't sure my ideal location would be possible until I discovered relocatable homes.  I feel it is in my best interest to pursue these homes and  I will begin my search in earnest this Summer.  I can't wait to start the design process and also look at a landscape plan that will compliment my new home.  I want everyone who comes to my home to be impressed and want one of their own. The benefits of these homes are perfect for me.
